April was a kind of a off the wagon/on the wagon sort of month. I crushed working out – 26 days strong! Reading two books? Yeah… not so much. The beginning of April was spent organizing our house and enjoying Denver life. Our whole month was centered around our engagement parties in Atlanta over easter and then last minute I had a work trip to England so the last 2 weeks have been a blur. A wonderful, beautiful, heartwarming, inspiring blur but I am so off my schedule now!
Not getting on any planes this month but that doesn’t mean the month isn’t already jam-packed – I mean May is my Birthday month – turning 32 on May 12th!! We have Cinco De Mayo, crawfish boils, birthday brunches and hopefully a trip to the sand dunes!
So what are my 30-day Challenge this month…
Get Back on Schedule
Waking up early, journaling, no phone in bed etc, etc. All the good habits I had started earlier this year that travel has thrown off course. Time to get back in the groove
25 Days of Movement
Pelaton, Lagree, 10 min abs, arm work – all of the above count to keep me active and hit my wedding goals. I had a fitting last week and I just need to maintain and work on these guns haha.
Reading & Audible
I realized that only reading business books were turning me off from reading again. So late last night I ordered two books for pleasure. The one I keep seeing everywhere “Where the Crawdads Sing” and then “The Summer I Turned Pretty” trashy romance about falling in love at the beach because they are the best – no judgment here, please. I still have to finish Inspired and have another book on management waiting in the wings.
I did start Hooked on audible and so far I am hooked… puns!
Are you crushing your 30-Day Challenges? Any other books for pleasure I should try? Any tips on getting rid of armpit fat? Lol but not kidding send help for a wedding dress!
