I never dreamed shopping for Callie’s clothes could be so fun! I always try to shop sustainably when possible and have found a few brands I love. Remember being sustainable is a spectrum; the most sustainable thing would be to buy nothing and only use hand-me-downs- and I do try! I have found many great deals on baby clothes on Poshmark, local Facebook groups and a few children’s consignment shops around town but when I do shop, these are my favorite brands.
Most of these brands are great for bodysuits, t-shirts, pants/leggings, and some dresses. Almost everything is 100% organic cotton that is toxic-free. So when I am looking for something more special like a smocked dress, I head to Poshmark or Etsy to shop preloved fines. I also get all of Callie’s jeans on Poshmark too!
There are many sustainable organic baby brands are out there, and some are V expensive, after ordering and trying a few these are the few I keep shopping from again and again.
Gosh, their clothes are so cute. While they cover the basics like leggings and bodysuits (the baby ribbed leggings are actually my favorite baby pants), they also have super cute dresses, jackets, and swimsuits in such fun prints. New prints and designs come out seasonally so if you’re looking for something with a holiday vibe, they got you. This pink bomber jacket is adorable on Callie, and I love all the SPF swimsuits.
High quality, organic, sustainably made – look no further than Primary. Callie has a few bodysuits that she wears to daycare week after week and shows no sign of wear. The color is still just as rich, and the fabric is just as thick and soft. Primary covers all the basics in every color with a few limited edition prints. They also have very affordable, sustainably made winter jackets and swimwear!
Little Star Organic @ Walmart
Yep, Walmart. My mom found Little Stars Organic, and I am such a big fan. Compared to Hannah Anderson & Primary, the material is way thinner; however, in 85+ degree summers, you might want something a little cooler for your baby. Little Stars Organic was honestly the only brand I could find little strapless bodysuits for Callie too. And their stuff is way cheap.
What are you favorite organic clothing brands for kids?!
