Last week I was treated to a 3 course meal consisting entirely of pies. Pie? Yes, yummy delicious pie. What kind of pie? Well, first we had a cheese, cherry tomato and caramelized onion galette, sort of like a pizza. Then a choice between Chicken Pot Pie, Veggie Pie, or Beef Pot Pie – I had the Chicken Pot Pie. For dessert we had a choice between Pumpkin Pie or Chocolate Chess Pie – I had a little of both! But the Chocolate Chess was my favorite. Honestly, all of it was ridiculously good. The Humble Pie Store is truly one of a kind. What started as some girls making pie for the farmers market is now a full-fledged shop serving pastries, coffee and of course, pie. So stop eating cupcakes and starting eating something that requires actual baking skill – Pie!
