Stonebridge Inn Snowmass

Where to Stay in Snowmass

Snowmass offers a number of hotels, condos, and homes to rent with a large majority of them being ski-in ski-out. We stayed at the Stonebridge Inn on our ski trip but I really enjoyed the Limelight Hotel when we visited in the fall. The Vicory is so nice too, we visited for dinner and spa day and would love to stay there next time!

Sams Knob at Snowmass Mountain

On Mountain Dining

Sam’s Knob – We had the most amazing Italian Lunch at Sam’s Knob on the mountain. The entire space had just undergone a massive renovation and was stunning. We luckily got a seat on the porch and enjoyed some great antipasti and pasta in the sun while sipping Palomas and rose. Oh and the music was great too! I will be back to try the Grandma’s style pizza (Sicilian slice) looked so so good too! Reservations are encouraged.

Lynne Britt Cabin – We stopped by Lynne Britt’s for Après which was so fun. There is a large outdoros area to sit out in the sun and enjoy drinks. This is a great spot for groups, plus they have a shot-ski! We didn’t eat but the food looked great. Reservations are encouraged.

What to do in Snowmass Summer + Fall

Spa at The Viceroy– A spa day at the Viceroy is not to be missed really any season you are in Snowmass. After our treatment, we spent a few hours at the hotel tub and pool – soaking up the great bluebird day. The Pool area has a full bar and happens to have live music when we visited too!

I really wish my photos could do this space justice, but you will just have to go and see for yourself.

Hiking – The Roaring Fork Valley is gorgeous and there are 100s of amazing hikes in the area. While summer is gorgeous fall is really poping in Snowmass

  • Spiral Point – This easy trail will wind you up above Snowmass for 360 views
  • Elk Camp Trail – I didn’t do this trail exactly but we started in Snowmass village and hike to the elk camp chair lift and road it to the top – which I highly recommend the views of the maroon bells are stunning!
  • American Lake Trail – You will feel the burn but the views are gorgeous and would be GOLDEN during fall

Golf – While the Snowmass Course is private there are still a number of courses in the area. In the fall we played the 9-hole course Ranch at Roaring Fork

Roaring Fork Golf Club

Skiing in Snowmass

Ski Snowmass – I can’t believe I had never skied Snowmass but I am totally obsessed now and I get why everyone loves it. With over 3,000 acres Snowmass is the 2nd largest resort in Colorado and was totally empty! No crazy lines here. I am all about groomed blue runs and Snowmass has plenty!

Some of our favorite runs:

  • Sneaky’s
  • Bull Run
  • Sandy Park
  • Sheer Bliss

I like to dabble in tree runs and I felt like Snowmass has so many great areas to duck in and out of the tress and I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Thanks to Snowmass Tourism for sponsoring this epic ski trip and this post!
