On Thursday before our wedding, my parents hosted a Welcome Party for all the guest who were in town. Since Crested Butte is a solid four hours from Denver most guests arrived on Thursday so it was a great way to greet everyone as they got into town.
Eleven Experience Crested Butte
My family stayed at Eleven Experience in the Sopris house which was PERFECT for this event. The home has a big bar with a pool table called “The Whipping Post” after the Alman Brothers – so perfect right! And there is the most ridiculous built-in sound system too.
Eleven Experience catered the event, too. We worked with them to create a casual menu – pulled pork and chicken sliders, slaw, a hearty salad and of course a cheese plate!
What I Wore

For our welcome party, I really wanted a spectacular cheese plate. Sartori Cheese my favorite cheese graciously gifted us cheese for the event. A perfect Channing and the Cheese Plate!
