Dinner at Beano’s Cabin Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek Colorado, Skiing, Sponsored-Travel, Travel

If you are making the trip to Beaver Creek this winter, there is one dining experience that is a must, dinner at Beano’s Cabin.

Dinner includes an open-air sleigh ride up the mountain to a cozy cabin for a delicious five-course meal. This may be one of Clay and mine’s favorite dining experience to date. We loved every moment of this experience even the very cold sleigh ride!

We bundled up in anticipation for the ride but were happy to find giant parkas waiting for us too. We wrapped up and headed up the mountain. Pro tip: I would sit with your back towards the cab so you don’t get hit with the blowing snow. You also get a view of Beaver Creek as you head up the mountain.

Once you arrive everyone is directed to hang up their coats and trade in their snow boots for slippers! Slipper party! Clay and I laughed so hard; we loved scooting around the restaurant in our slippers.

Beano’s Cabin is big and cozy with a giant double-sided fireplace. We got a great table by the windows giving us a full view of the room. The solo guitarist played some great tunes and as the night progressed… I think our sing-alongs got a little louder!

Dinner is five courses with a choice of soup, appetizer, entree and dessert; there was only one salad option, which everyone gets. Our waitress offered some great recommendations and we had a really hard time deciding what to get because we both wanted the same thing! I prefer to order different things and share but Clay would rather not share, haha! We ended up ordering two different appetizers but our waitress brought out a third for us and I am so happy she did. The braised pork belly with heirloom grits – out of this world good!

We spoke with the sommelier, Brad, about our wine options and he chose an amazing bottle of red from Shafer Vineyards called One Point Five. It was a very pretty penny and oh so good.

You know those meals where you take a bite and just sit back and enjoy every little moment of it. This was that kind of meal. I think both of us knew this would be a good meal but this far exceeded our expectations. Totally worth every penny to go and experience the whole thing.

My order:

  • Tomato Soup
  • Oysters Bacon Feller
  • Berkshire Pork Porterhouse
  • Lemon Tart

Clay’s order:

  • Tomato soup
  • 7x Farms Short Rib Pappardelle
  • Beef Tenderloin
  • Chocolate Mouse Cake

After dinner, Clay and I lounged in the bar by the fire before hopping in the sleigh to head back down the mountain. The sky had cleared and made way for a spectacular starry night. Everyone in the sleigh sat with their heads all the way back staring at the stars and shouting out constellations we saw. All in all, it was truly such a magical experience.

Beano’s Cabin is an all-inclusive experience, starting at $140 a head, which includes your ride to and from the cabin, an incredible five-course meal and fun slippers to wear! I have seen this type of dinner offered in other mountain towns and I know wherever our next big ski trip takes us this is something we will plan to do.

This dinner was sponsored by Vail Resorts. As an Epic Pass influencer, I get to try different experiences at each Vail Resort this season to share with Y’all! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
