Denver’s Best Oyster Happy Hours

August 5th is National Oyster Day so to celebrate I am rounding up the best oyster happy hours around Denver. Some people shy away from eating seafood and oyster this far inland but y’all we are in a major metropolitan our seafood it good!

Max’s Gill & Grill

Clay and I fell head over heels for one another at Max’s on our first date. Since I moved to Denver Max’s has been one of my favorite restaurants. I only wish we lived closer!

Angelo’s Taverna

Daily 3 pm to 6 pm and 9 pm to close
Oysters and Italian food just go together. Angelos is the originals pizza and oyster bar but they go beyond pizza with pasta, salad and sooo many appetizers. Which means lots of happy hour options outside of oysters are available.

Fish & Beer

This RiNo seafood joint is the only $1 oysters you will find near downtown. The geniuses behind Pinche Taco also created the latest oyster happy hour and one off the latest in Denver going all the way to 7 pm!

Jax’s has always been a go-to spot for seafood around town. Their seafood is flown in fresh daily, so the special and menu are always changing based on what they can get in. This is the spot to get the best oyster selection in town. Plus they have their very own exclusive oyster the Emersum which you will only find at Jax. The happy hour has like 15 food items so you can really get a full meal in, hush puppies, wings, calamari, ahi tuna bowl and more! I love the LoDo location right across from Union Station and the Glendale location has a great rooftop too.

Oysters and Pizza at Cart Driver LoHi

Pizza & Oysters… genius combination. I love this’s RiNo spot for their amazing woodfired pizza and having fresh oysters is just an added bonus. It’s a little spot so I would not suggest this for large groups. Order at the counter and grab a table inside or outback.

Blue Island Oyster Bar

Sip rose and slurp oysters on the open-air patio of Blue Island Oyster Bar in Cherry Creek. Really great happy hour deals like min lobster roll too! P.S. Mondays are $0.99 oysters!

Stoic Genuine

The fanciest of them all Stoic & Genuine at Union Station is for parents and clients who don’t care they are paying $2 for an oyster… Also, the lobster roll here is bomb.com
