We all know that men and women are treated differently but damn it starts at such a young age! I had no idea all the things that we are thought and internalized. Fascinating and empowering read on how to be brave, not perfect, and teach our little girls to do the same.

Everything is Figureoutable by Maria Forleo

I have been a fan of Maria Forleo for years and this book is the culmination of her philosophy on how to get shit done. Aka Just do it. In this book, she breaks it all down and shares inspiring stories of those who have taken that advice and succeeded far beyond their wildest dreams.

Untamed by Geland Doyale

Wow, I just loved this book. Geland just explains all the things you have been feeling and didn’t know how to put words to. While her story is so totally different than mine it’s so totally reliable too. I read this on kindle and felt like I “highlighted” almost every page of the book. Highly recommend.

The 5 Minute Journal

I started this journal a few years ago and while it took me over a year to do – and I think it’s meant for like 6 months – I loved it. Having a few days a week where you focus on your intentions and then remember all the little great things that happened too. I have gifted this journal a few times, too. I think its a great gift when going through a big life event like planning a wedding or remembering the little things about your baby’s first years.

Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

This one does not lean as “Self Help” as the other books but it’s a gripping read about a young girl growing up on the Alaskan frontier, her twisted family dynamic, and true love. I posted about this one on IG and so many of yall said you loved it and I did too!

Open Book by Jessica Simpson

Ummmm Woah, thought you knew Jessica from the Newlyweds – you don’t. Open Book is an inside look inside celebrity life and an open honest telling of Jessica’s life. It is not all pink and giggles by any means. And John Mayer is terrrrrrible – read it and let me know if you agree!

Kindle – I have said this a lot but having a Kindle I read 10x more. So get one for yourself or a friend.
