You're pregnant! Congrats! You are probably just now starting to debate what maternity wear you really need. For me it was finding a few pairs of leggings to keep me cozy all winter long. In this post, I share all the maternity leggings I tried and kept that fall into three main categories of the types of leggings I thought I needed
- Cozy Leggings for Lounging
- Workout Leggings
- Out on the town Leggings
Note: I work from home exclusively so finding more formal maternity wear was not a priority. I also really struggled to find any jeans that fit and honestly I have been perfectly fine in leggings thus far. You can find my other maternity wear picks here. Also, I have been living in this Mate The Label oversized sweatshirt (xs/s) it's amazing, just ordered it in the red!

Hatch The Before, During, After Leggings
I will admit these leggings are buttery soft. I can see how they will fit well before, after, and during pregnancy, I only wish I had ordered a small vs a medium as they are just a little too big. But now I am stuck with them. What I do love about these is they look pretty nice, nice enough to wear with a sweater out and about, when you really don't want the seamless compression leggings I mention below.

Amazon Foucome Women's Maternity Leggings
These amazon leggings are definitely not sustainably made. But when you start bloating like crazy in your first trimester before your bump appears and nothing fits you need leggings quick and these amazon leggings fit the bill. I have two pairs and wear them around the house most days. They are not particularly thick/warm so not what I have been wearing out of the house this winter.
Kindred Bravely Bamboo Maternity & Postpartum Joggers
Another suggested brand from y'all! I only wish that I had found them early because I love that they are made from bamboo. Since I had a few pairs of leggings I went with the joggers and I could not be happier. I love them. I am wearing them right now as I type this. The joggers sit low which I really love, sometimes your belly just wants to be free, I also feel like I can totally wear these after baby too. Get these Joggers you will not regret them.

LuluLemon Wunder Train High-Rise Tight
This is only my second pair of lulus so I really missed on the sizing - why is their sizing so weird! The Wunder Train leggings things are so soft and buttery and I get how they can also fit before during and after pregnancy. Again, I think I got a size to big or maybe a defective pair. The pockets on the side pucker with extra frabric and they are a little more crapri on me than I would like. However, I do enjoy wearing them and wouldn't hesitate to wear again. These are defeintly not compression but great for working out and running errands around town.
Old Navy PowerSoft Maternity Leggings
The Old Navy Powersoft Leggings have been my go-to leggings for years - I REALLY wish they would choose to make these in a more sustainable ethical way cause they are awesome. These give you softness and stretch with compression. These are my preferred pair of workout maternity leggings.

Blanqi Maternity Belly Support Leggings
So all of my gfs recommended these as the "going out" "seamless" legging to get. These are compression and over the belly and just haven't been terribly enjoyable for me to wear. I think they are a little too tight. I did like that these came in multiple colors and got a black and green pair the green pair seem to have a little more give than the black pair. Friends loved them - I am so so so on them.
Ingrid & Isabel Seamless Belly Leggings
Ingrid & Isabel Seamless Belly Leggings
Winner! For seamless going-out leggings, the Ingrid & Isabel leggings are my go-to. They are way more giving than the Blanqi and look just as "nice". If I had to do it over I would have ordered these before the Blanqi but I didn't know! I will say these are a little thinner than the Blanqi think like spanx vs regular leggings. But since I really prefer less tightness in pregnancy they work for me.
