Let’s check in on how I did in January with my six 30 day challenge – getting after it much?? That’s how we roll around here! haha

Whole 30
Well, this lasted 17 days… with a little sushi mixed in. Honestly, I think the next time we do this it will just be a 10-day detox. The 10 days are hard but feel so good, after that, I find all the restrictions annoying and expensive. Clay and I have no problem being healthy during the week but when it gets to the weekend – we wanna go on date night and drink a glass of wine. So we did. What I do really love about Whole30 is it forces both of us to cook! I have learned so many new recipes this month and yall I’m a pretty good chef – surprise! So I am continuing that through February with only whole30 or paleo approved recipes at home…if we are cooking. I will update this post with anything I find that I really love

Stretching + Butt Workout
This is something I really enjoyed. Stretching every morning has been a part of my routine for a while but I love the little heart pumping I got from the butt routine. I will definitely continue to do this and focus on Arms in February. I honestly believe a great morning starts with light, movement, and hydration – hat tip to Lauren Evarts for that!

Improve Posture
If you haven’t already, you need to go download PostureMinder to your Chrome browser ASAP. I love it. The reminders are also funny and make me giggle.

No Phone In Bed
LOVE THIS! I also added no computer! I hope I can stick to this one – at least on weekdays for life! I even texted my BFF “sorry in bed now no phone!” I will definitely continue to do this as it has given me so much extra time to read which I love.

Journaling
30 days of journaling strong – well except maybe a few days. I really love my Five Minutes a day journal and will continue to use it. I think one of my favorite parts is the 3 things to accomplish today. It’s a great way to set your intentions and priorities for the day. I would think about personal work, blog work and review my work day so I knew what was going on. Then at the end of the day, I would put a little check by what I had accomplished- boom done! I will definitely continue to do this.

No Shopping
Is it weird that the one time I’m not shopping my debit card number get stole and someone spends almost $500!! Crazy right. Well, this one was hard but a good challenge. I have a little list of things I need ot buy come February 1st but I think ti was good to make me wait rather than just ordering whatever book, beauty product or sweater pop up on my feed. Now I know exactly what I need and what I don’t. I will, however, do some shopping in February as I am headed to Miami, Charleston & OKC in March!
Next week I will share my February 30 day challenge. How are you doing on your challenges or resolutions for the year? Did you try any of these?
