I’m not the best cook. I can do a few things like breakfast, this one turkey chili recipe and, well, cheese plates. So when Uncorked Kitchen reached out to me, inviting me to come try out a class I was stoked.
My girlfriend, Lizzie, and I went to “Date Night – Celebrating Autumn” and had THE BEST TIME. Seriously, hands down, one of the most fun nights either of us have had in a while.
Uncorked Kitchen is not just a cooking class; it’s an experience. There is a full wine bar, multiple classes, and styles of classes to choose from. The environment is fun and relaxed and sipping while cooking is highly encouraged!
Date Night classes are around $200 per couple and include a bottle of wine. Wine is chosen specifically to fit the meal you’re cooking but you can still choose red or white. If you finish your bottle, you can head to the bar and get another drink or two.
Each class is built around different themes or cuisines like Sushi, Taste of India, Cubanos & Mojitos, or even Italian Desserts. Some classes focus on mastering a few things while others, like our date night, teach us to create a full three-course meal! Uncorked also offers wine classes and pairing so you can choose to learn all about cooking or all about wine or, hell, why not both!
Earlier this fall they offered a Ramen class and I am patiently waiting for that one to pop back on the events calendar!
I would loveee if there was an Uncorked Kitchen in downtown Denver. That is one bar I would hit up all the time!
