The Jerry Garcia Family, LLC in collaboration with StraxArt recently release a collection of Jerry Garcia original art. Besides, playing guitar for one of the greatest bands of all time, Jerry was an avid painter. Currently, the gallery shows 36 pieces in several different mediums including paint, charcoal, airbrush and markers and even oil pastels.
Each piece is sold as a replica print that can be framed or shipped frameless. Prints also include a seal of authenticity, The Jerry Garcia Family Bona Fide Article Seal and Jerry Garcia’s signature. The one above and bellow are two of my favorites as well as the sailing print.
StraxArt is quite the stealth startup operation. Started by ex-CIO of Chicos and Tommy Hilfiger the companies aim is to do for art what Spotify did for music. Pretty lofty goals, but choosing Jerry Garcia as your first choice is bold, and I like it. Very interested to see where this company goes.
