I saw this quote on Monday from Chris Rock and love it. I have set some pretty lofty goals for 2016, so to get it all done, I’m reading Get Things Done by David Allen. This book came highly recommended by my developers, who said it will change the way I work. I will be sure to report back my findings.
The Band: Two years ago I became a backer of Elliot Landy “The Band” book on Kickstarter. I just received the beautiful coffee table book before Christmas and it was totally worth the two-year wait. Read Vanity Fair’s update on the project here. Want your own? You can still purchase one here.
Hungry: Denver Eater just published The 38 Essential Denver Restaurants, Winter 2016. On my bucket list is Acorn, Plimouth, Colt & Gray and CHO77.
Phish Love: Positive “critic” reviews of Phish shows are unfortunately few and far between but Katherin Turman of the Village Voice “got it”. Her piece actually brought a tear to my eye. I was so happy to read some positive journalism (and positive commnets from phans) about Phish. Plus, I miss seeing them soooo damn much. The line “…same goes for Phish: Your preference doesn’t undo their prowess.” perfectly describes how I feel about those who “don’t get it”, really well written. Thank you
