Now that I have marble and slate, all I’m missing is wood! A run of the mill (wood puns!) wood cutting board always looks great as a cheese board. When photographing my cheese plates, wood boards often blend in with the yellow tones of the cheeses causing the image to look well, super yellow. I love the contrast of the slate and marble boards. To me, the perfect wood board is a darker, deeper brown (than yellow) and with an interesting grain and texture. This one fits the bill, plus I love the round shape!
