I begged and begged to get my ear’s pierced when I was in the 5th grade. When my mom finally took me to Claire’s they pierced one year and I burst in tears. A little girl around age 5, waiting to get her 2nd holes, just stared at me. Eventually, my mom convinced me that I had to get the other one done. My ears were constantly infected and whatever earrings I wore by the end of the day, I only had one. Therefore, I can only wear gold post studs. Etsy has a great selection of studs, at reasonable prices, so when I inevitably lose one I can order another pair.
